Duties for the Cyber Interactive Media Telephone Sales
Representative may include but are not limited to the following:
- Initiating telephone calls for the purpose of selling
Internet advertising.
- Meeting aggressive sales quotas and objectives. Responsible
for posting daily sales results.
- Developing selling strategies prior to contacting designated
market using a variety of visual and other sales aids.
- Determining accounts' Internet needs through basic probing
interviews to tailor the appropriate Internet product(s).
- Developing advertising program recommendations.
- Scheduling, organizing and prioritizing work to meet
customer and directory deadline scheduling demands promptly,
accurately and efficiently.
- Preparing Internet layouts and background information, as
basis for recommending advertising programs and Internet listing
arrangements to meet the needs of each business.
- Preparing forms and letters and handling detailed paperwork.
Preparing necessary paperwork for publishing and billing the
advertisement
- Constant daily contacts with customers.
- Work requires a high degree of accuracy.
- Job is non-routine and requires flexibility to switch from
handling customer calls to detailed paperwork, etc.
- Working in a cube-type office environment talking to
customers over the telephone for an extended period of time.
- Preparing, recommending and selling print advertising as
applicable.
